Coventry Dental Chiller
Fast & Easy Method of Testing Pulpal Health
Coventry Dental Chiller™ is a fast, easy way to test pulpal health. Simply insert the Flow-Thru Applicator into trigger nozzle of the aerosol can, and spray to build a frost layer on the applicator. Then you carefully touch the foam bud to the facial surface of the tooth in the quadrant of concern and the contra-lateral tooth to be tested.
The traditional way to test is to spray a torn piece of cotton ball with refrigerant. This method is time consuming and wastes refrigerant. Coventry Dental Chiller is faster and easier, and no expensive equipment is needed.

Remove the Applicator from the trigger nozzle. |
Retract the lips and cheeks to avoid contact with the cold Applicator. Carefully touch the foam bud to the facial surface of the tooth in the quadrant of concern and the contra-lateral tooth to be tested. Re-saturate the Applicator for each tooth tested. Evaluate patient’s response. |
Flow-Thru Applicators are not to be used on more than one patient. Dispose of properly.
